Young Persons' Support Worker

22 hours per week (exclusive of breaks)

Hours of Work: 8am - 8pm Saturday and Sunday

Salary £16,817 per annum pro-rata (Actual Salary £10,571 p.a.)

Dewis is seeking to appoint a Young Person's Support Worker, to work with our Inclusion Officers to enable young people to live independent lives in the community through person centred support and targeted interventions.  This will include supporting young people in our Crisis Support Scheme (Emergency Accommodation). The role will focus on developing strong, trusting relationships with young people, focusing on their assessment and development of independent living skills, tenancy management, promoting participation within the service and community engagement.  As a Support Worker, you will be required to comply with and maintain all necessary administrative and recording systems in the agreed format.
